Tax
Tax talent is scarce, and cross-border tax talent is scarcer. We recruit professionals who have prepared the return, built the provision, and defended the position, on both sides of the U.S.–Canada border.

What we screen for
Positions, not just designations.
A credential tells you someone passed an exam. It does not tell you whether they can manage a multi-state nexus footprint, reconcile a provision to the return, or structure an intercompany arrangement that survives review in two countries. We ask about the work they actually did.
- Corporate compliance. Federal, state, and provincial filings, extensions, and estimated payments they have owned end to end.
- Provision. ASC 740 and its interaction with the close, including deferred and uncertain positions.
- Indirect tax. Sales and use, GST/HST, and marketplace rules in e-commerce and logistics environments.
- Cross-border. U.S.–Canada structures, transfer pricing documentation, withholding, and treaty positions.
- Working with advisors. Getting value from outside firms without outsourcing judgment.
Cross-border specialty
Fluent in both jurisdictions.
Our founder has run finance for businesses operating on both sides of the U.S.–Canada border. We know what a cross-border tax role really demands, and we know how to find the people who can do it.
- Canadian entities with U.S. operations and U.S. groups expanding into Canada.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in both U.S. federal and Canadian federal and provincial regimes.
- Practical understanding of permanent establishment, withholding, and intercompany pricing risk.
For employers
Whether you are building a first in-house tax function or replacing a director before year-end, we scope the search to your entity structure, your filing footprint, and your advisor relationships. You see candidates who have handled your specific complexity.
For candidates
Tax professionals moving in-house, or between in-house roles, rarely get a recruiter who understands the work. We do. Tell us your specialty and where you want to take it.
