Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Schwartzman Group ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the recruiting services we provide to candidates and employers.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Candidates: name, email address, phone number, location, LinkedIn profile, work authorization status, resume or CV and its contents (employment history, education, credentials, skills), compensation expectations, role preferences, and anything else you choose to tell us in a form, email, or conversation.
  • Employers and contacts: name, company, title, email address, phone number, and details about roles, teams, and hiring needs.
  • Subscribers: email address and audience type for our mailing list.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider and form processor may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URLs, in server logs, for security and operational purposes. This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy.

Information from third parties

With your consent or where lawful, we may collect information from references you provide, from publicly available professional profiles, and from employers in the course of an engagement.

2. How we use information

  • To evaluate candidates for current and future roles and to present candidates to employers, with the candidate's consent.
  • To communicate with candidates and employers about roles, searches, interviews, offers, and engagements.
  • To respond to enquiries submitted through this website or by email.
  • To send mailing-list content you have subscribed to, with an unsubscribe option in every message.
  • To operate, secure, and improve this website and our services.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.

3. Resumes and candidate data

Resumes and related candidate information are stored securely and accessed only by Schwartzman Group personnel who need them for recruiting purposes. We do not share your resume or identify you to any employer without your explicit consent for that specific opportunity. Once you consent, the employer receives your information and processes it under its own privacy practices. We will tell you which employer a role is with before you decide.

4. How we share information

  • Employers: candidate information, only with the candidate's consent, for a specific role.
  • Service providers: companies that process data on our behalf, such as our website host (Cloudflare), form processor (Formspree), email provider, and any applicant tracking or document storage systems we use. These providers are bound to use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements: where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Schwartzman Group, our clients, candidates, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. Retention

We retain candidate information for as long as reasonably necessary to consider you for current and future opportunities, generally for a period of up to three years from your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is required by law. Employer and engagement records are retained for the duration of the relationship and as required for legal, accounting, and tax purposes. Mailing-list data is retained until you unsubscribe.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted transmission for web forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it.
  • Deletion: you may ask us to delete your information. We will do so unless we are required to retain it by law or for a legitimate purpose described in this policy.
  • Withdraw consent: you may withdraw consent to being presented for roles or to receiving communications at any time.
  • Unsubscribe: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law. Depending on where you live, including Canada and certain U.S. states, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, and we will honor those rights as required.

8. Cross-border transfers

We are based in the United States and serve candidates and employers in the United States and Canada. Information you provide may be stored and processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate. By providing information, you understand it may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws than your own. We take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected under this policy.

9. Children

Our services are intended for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links and services

This website links to third-party sites and uses third-party services, including Google Fonts for typography and Formspree for form submissions. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
