Who we are

A recruiting firm run by a finance executive, not a sales floor.

Schwartzman Group was founded on a simple observation: the people recruiting accountants and finance leaders usually have never done either job. We have. That is the whole difference.

CFO-led · 15+ years in finance leadership.

Why we exist

Fifteen years of hiring finance teams taught us what recruiters miss.

Our founder spent more than fifteen years as a CFO and senior finance leader, scaling companies from $2M to $150M in revenue across healthcare and behavioral health, SaaS, e-commerce, logistics, infrastructure, and manufacturing. In every one of those companies, hiring the finance team was the hardest part of the job.

The recruiters were fast and friendly and rarely useful. They could not tell whether a controller could run a close. They could not test a model. They sent resumes with the right keywords and left the real screening to the client. Schwartzman Group was built to do the part they skipped.

What we do

One specialty. Every level.

We recruit exclusively in accounting and finance: staff accountant through CFO, across six practice areas. We offer direct hire, interim and project staffing on a contract or contract-to-hire basis, and retained executive search.

We are based in Miami and serve clients across the United States and Canada, with particular depth in cross-border finance and tax hiring.

What we stand for

Four commitments that shape every search.

Screen for the work

Every candidate is assessed on what they can actually do before an introduction. No keyword matching, no resume forwarding.

Tell the truth

If the market will not support your salary range, we say so. If a candidate is not right, we say so. If we cannot help, we say that too.

Respect both sides

Employers pay us. Candidates never do. We protect candidate confidentiality absolutely and refer on skill and experience alone, without regard to any protected characteristic.

Stay small on purpose

Every search is run by the founder. We take on the work we can do well, and we finish it.

Let's talk about your next hire — or your next move.
